Tomorrow is the Webmaster’s birthday!  We plan on going out to dinner.  Very exciting.  Well, we’re going without the kids, so it will be relaxing.

As I said to him – sorry, nothing is ever going to beat brunch at Aulani and then floating in the lagoon at Ko’Olina.

That was three years ago, and it is still the benchmark by which all other birthdays are measured.

Happy birthday, Webmaster!  We might not be on the beach in Hawaii, but I think you’ll have a happy birthday all the same.

When a new book comes out in a favorite book series, it can be a very exciting moment.

Especially if you’re Rerun, and you were waiting for this book.

We had just gotten done at the doctor’s office, and I had promised Rerun that we would stop by Barnes & Noble and pick up the book.  He couldn’t wait and started reading while I was getting a coffee.

(If only it had come out before school had gotten out, then I would have given it to Rerun then…)

Leave it to Tad to turn an evening’s project into a three-week process when he decides to deviate from the assignment.

I mean, I don’t mind, and I don’t think his teacher minded, but when Tad decides to go Batman, he goes full-out Batman.

This was supposed to be a trapeze figure on a string.  At least, that’s what everyone else made.  Not Tad.

This was the last art class of the school year.  Tad will be back in the art studio at the end of July with Teacher M for a week-long class on watercolors!

Here they are… now done with freshman year, 7th grade, 3rd grade, and kindergarten!

And because it was a full day, and not just a half-day, we ended up getting an early dinner with Auntie at Chick-fil-A instead of lunch.

Now, we can enjoy a few days off before the REAL summer work begins….
