Summer Rain

It’s raining, I said.  Come back inside, I said. And the kid who loves the sensation of rain falling on him said, “So?” I should note that he only likes “gentle” rain. Last Friday, it was pelting down hard, with thunder and lightning, and it wasn’t so fun.  He didn’t want to be outside then!
