Art of the Week – Cartoon Panda

Sometimes, drawing an exaggerated look is more fun than trying to be real. Tad drew this cartoon panda in art class last night, and it is adorable. Look at those big anime style eyes! Tad said, “Mom, isn’t my panda bear cute?” Yes, it is un”bear”ably cute, Tad.

Art of the Week – Quack Quack, Duckling

This week’s art is still reflecting on spring, and baby animals.  Like ducklings. The duckling is drawn with charcoal and sprayed with a fixer so it won’t smudge. I’m enjoying the spring theme to the class art projects!
