Tad’s art class studied Pablo Picasso this week, and looked at his abstract faces. Then they drew some of their own, with a Halloween twist. And you know Tad drew it, because you can see the sharks and the bats. I’m pretty sure Picasso never put sharks in his pictures, but I might be wrong.

The annual pumpkin carving took place on Saturday, with Auntie and JW coming over and joining in.  And the weather was nice and sunny, so Auntie suggested we carve pumpkins on the deck in the backyard.  That ended up being a perfect plan. Auntie’s cookie-fu is getting stronger all the time.  She made these for a party, and we got some leftovers. The kids enjoy taking Auntie cookies in their lunches.  Not only do they look cool, they taste good.
