Tad put in some more work on his new sculpture, and …. …it’s a wolf! His teacher told him “no sharks” for this project.  I think she has him figured out.

Week 2 of Tad’s new sculpture in art class. His teacher reported that he is having a hard time making himself take the time to smooth his clay and get the surface right. But she also reports that he is making the effort to do a complete job. Any guesses on what he is making?

Tad did have art class this week, but they are starting a new sculpture project.  So there wasn’t anything but armature to see yet. However, he still has the “How To Draw” book from the library, so he did spend some time at his sketchbook at home. I’m enjoying watching him work.

Behold, it is complete: Tad worked very hard on this (despite having to take breaks to, you know, go to school), and he is very happy with all the fun details and cool features. This set was over THREE THOUSAND PIECES to assemble. Tad has come a long, long way.
